Does your family like to go camping? Here is a chance to experience the wonderful fun of Camp Foxtail, family style. Friday night dinner, and Saturday breakfast and lunch will be provided. Families will be assigned sleep cabins and share community bathrooms. Organized camp activities will be provided for the entire family! Families can enjoy mountain bike riding, hiking games, camp fires and traditional camp songs, archery and so much more. Staff is provided for all organized program activities. Parents/guardians will be responsible for all supervision of their children attending and need to have transportation to and from camp. Each participant will need to bring their own camp appropriate sleeping bags and personal items. Come enjoy the thrill, challenge, and excitement of being part of a unique survivor adventure! You will experience a week of fun activities with a big twist. Guided by a series of clues, you will challenge your mind and body, as you work with your team. Have fun in team challenges for the adventure course, archery, and other secret challenges. Learn some basic survivor skills that you could use should you ever choose to sign up for "Survivor” the reality show. This camp session is for the more adventurous camper! How does hiking, mountain biking, high ropes course activities and rock climbing sound? This session includes a hike to the top of Sponge Creek at Camp Foxtail, and a trip to the Clark County ROPES course with a night camping outside of camp! You will also be exploring all other traditional activities that camp has to offer including games, traditional camp songs, archery, outdoor cooking and campfires, and making camp crafts. Groom, saddle, halter, and feed the horses while learning about basic care, then go on a ride through the mountain trails. You will travel from Camp Foxtail every day to the Kyle Canyon side of Mt. Charleston to work with the horses. The Las Vegas Carriage Company will provide the horse lessons. All beginners welcome, no experience is necessary. Participants will begin with an exciting tour of the Shark Reef and all it's animals. Following the guided tour, girls will explore the behind the scenes classroom and learn about amazing animal adaptations with interactive games and activities.

Activities include feeding stingrays, learning about seals and sea lions (and how they are different), enjoy priority seating at the Shamu ROCKS! Show and more!
SeaWorld Scout Sleepovers include kid-friendly dinner, fun and education activities, breakfast SeaWorld Sleepover T-shirt, SeaWorld patch, and best of all SeaWorld admission the day after your Sleepover.
10:00 am - Depart Frontier Council.
5:00 pm (aprox.) - Bus to arrive at SeaWorld.
We will meet our Sea World Counselors, receive your free SeaWorld Adventure Camp T-shirt, and divide into groups. Enjoy a hot buffet meal with dishes tailored to both kid and adult tastes. Then enjoy the SeaWorld education program Adventure Camp style. Learn about the conservation efforts for the animals at SeaWorld. Enjoy reserved seating at two shows. Then head to one of the three special areas for one more educational activities and set up your sleeping areas. On this day adults are limited to safety-wise ratio plus one and one per IGM.

We will meet our Sea World Counselors, receive your free SeaWorld Adventure Camp T-shirt, and divide into groups. Enjoy a hot buffet meal with dishes tailored to both kid and adult tastes. Then enjoy the SeaWorld education program Adventure Camp style. Learn about the conservation efforts for the animals at SeaWorld. Enjoy reserved seating at two shows. Then head to one of the three special areas for one more educational activities and set up your sleeping areas. On this day adults are limited to safety-wise ratio plus one and one per IGM.

Enjoy a full hot breakfast and learn about the flamingos.
Then enjoy a free day inside SeaWorld. 3:30 pm - rejoin the group at the bus and return to Frontier Council.

Mandatory pre-meeting July 1, 2009 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm. At least one leader or IGM parent must attend this meeting. Troops or IGM parent (s) who do not attend will not attend the overnight.
